Tweed Vibrolux 5F11 Style Guitar Tube Amp Kit

Mojotone’s Tweed Vibrolux Style Amp Kit is a one-of-a-kind gem when it comes to clones. This 10 Watt tone machine was originally based on the Fender Harvard but with an added tremolo circuit. The Harvard and Vibrolux are two of the more rare Tweed era amps — we were so intrigued by the sound of a beautiful tremolo coming through a high fidelity Tweed style circuit that we just had to make it into a kit!

Featuring two 6V6s, two 12AX7s, and one 5Y3, our Vibrolux is every bit as clear and chimey as the original. The Anthem 10 35 Watt speaker was a great match for this circuit due to its ability to produce a smoother break up than some of its lower wattage relatives — this particular speaker also remains articulate when the tremolo function is stretched to its extremes.

The control panel is extremely user friendly, consisting of depth and speed (for the tremolo), a single tone control and a single volume control. There are three instruments inputs on this 5F11 circuit as it was originally designed to allow for the use of multiple guitars or multiple other instruments, just like a lot of the other Tweed era designs.
