The Lerxst OMEGA 2x12 is designed to capture the unique sonic characteristics of the combo amps that helped shape Alex’s tone in the early 80’s. The OMEGA 2x12 has a one piece, closed back panel in order to emphasize the bass response at 82Hz. The shell, baffle board, and back panel are made out of 100% void-free Baltic birch plywood joined with 1/4 finger joints. The two Mojotone BV-25M speakers are the perfect marriage to the OMEGA amp as they offer both the articulate high-end necessary to render that insanely complex sounding “Alex Lifeson chord” (F# Maj with the added 4th) with absolute clarity, while simultaneously delivering all of the Working Man low-end growl frequencies.
